About

Providing Educational Support for Hospitalized and Homebound Students

Bedside Educators Network, LLC is a faith-based corporation founded to help hospitalized and home-bound students pursue academic success. Students who have a physical disability, illness, or injury that prevents them from regularly attending school are likely to fall behind academically. It is the goal of this organization to support these students through individualized instruction in the form of tutoring and mentorship.

How it works: We aim to connect students with qualified educational mentors that will guide and encourage them toward academic growth. We focus on the needs of each individual student, which means that each program of instruction looks a little different. We aim to come alongside students and families as an additional support to the education they already have in place. This may take the form of homework help, tutoring in individual subjects, and even mentoring to help develop social skills.

Our mentors: Each of our mentors is trained, experienced, and passionate about working with individual students. Many of our mentors are certified through the Florida Department of Education or working toward certification. We understand the importance of building positive relationships with our students and their families in order to see them grow and succeed.

Who Qualifies? Students who have experienced an illness or disability that has kept them from attending school for an extended length of time; hospitalized or homebound students of virtual school; hospitalized or homebound homeschooled students.
